One talk I failed to mention back in April was Sophie Pittman’s talk on renaissance clothing and the steps she took to reconstruct–sourcing, sewing, dying, you name it–early-modern style renaissance clothing. I can’t share many pictures here of her talk, but I have a couple of lovely ones showing how dye is processed in wool.
